Soups.Stews : Stews Turnip And Bacon Soup Categories: Soups/stews
Yield: 4 servings
1/4 lb Streaky bacon, rinds off 3/4 lb Chopped turnips
1/4 lb Chopped onions 2 pt Stock
1/4 lb Chopped potatoes Fat for frying
Chop and fry bacon and onions. Add potatoes, turnips and stock. Cook
gently until vegetables are soft.
Adjust seasoning and serve. |
