Salsify Or Vegetable Oyster Soup

      Yield: 1 servings 
  
      5 ea Salsify roots; medium                    Salt 
      1 qt Milk; whole                              Pepper 
      1 tb Butter                          
  
  Pare roots and slice or run through fruit chopper. Boil in just enough 
  water to cover salsify. Add milk, butter and seasoning. Bring to a boil.
