Killer Chicken Mole

      Yield: 2 cups 
  
      1 c  Onion, chopped 
      1    Garlic clove, minced 
           -(or more to taste) 
      2 T  Oil or butter 
    1/2 c  Tomato sauce 
    1/4 c  Raisins 
    1/4 c  Peanut butter, smooth 
      2 t  Sugar 
      1 t  Chili powder (or more, 
           -to taste; get the 
           -freshest ground chili 
           -you can) 
    1/4 t  Cinnamon, ground 
    1/8 t  Cloves, ground 
    1/2 oz Chocolate, unsweetened 
  1 1/2 c  Chicken broth, weak 
  
  Saute onion and garlic in oil or butter until tender but not brown. Combine 
  this with remaining ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend 
  until smooth. 
   
  Return to saucepan and simmer 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently.  Roast 
  some chicken or duck according to your favorite recipe. Brush the sauce 
  over the bird at serving time; optionally sprinkle with chopped peanuts 
   
  NOTES:

  mole sauce; serve it on a well-roasted duckling or chicken.
