Plum Relish

      Yield: 6 servings 
  
      2 lb Apples                              6 lb Plums, pitted 
      4 md Onions                              1 ts Garlic salt 
      1 qt Vinegar                             2 tb Salt 
      2 tb Grated ginger root                1/2 ts Red pepper 
      2 tb Cloves                              2 lb Brown sugar 
  
  Pare and core apples.  Chop apples, onions, and plums.  Combine all 
  ingredients.  Cook slowly, stirring frequently, until thick. Mrs. J.F.
