      2 c  Ready-mixed flour                   1 c  Milk
      3 tb Melted shortening                   1    Egg, well beaten
      4 tb Sugar                          
 
  Sift prepared flour, measure, and sift.  Combine egg, shortening, milk, and
  sugar.  Add sifted flour and beat only until smooth. Fill well-oiled muffin
  tins 2/3 full.  Bake in hot oven (425Ü F) 15-20 minutes. 10 servings. The
