Meats Onion Smothered Brisket Categories: Meats
Yield: 8 servings
2 tb Garlic powder
2 tb Paprika
1 ts Pepper
1 Brisket; 5 to 6 pounds
1/4 c Vegetable oil
2 lb Onions; sliced
Mix garlic powder,paprika and pepper and rub into brisket.Heat oil in Dutch
oven and sear brisket on all sidesRemove and set aside.Saute onions in
Dutch oven.Replace brisket and cover totally with onions.Cover tightly and
place in 275 deg.oven for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. |
