      2 ts Instant Minced Onion              1/2 ts Salt 
    1/8 ts Garlic Powder                       1 tb Parsley Flakes 
  
  Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and blend well.  Put mixture in a 
  foil packet or a 1-pint glass jar and label as Home Style Dressing Mix. 
  Store in a cool dry place and use within 6 months. 
   
  Makes enough mix for 2 cups Home Style Dressing. (2 T) 
   
  Home Style Dressing:  Combine mix, 1 cup mayonnaise, and 1 cup buttermilk 
  in a glass jar and blend well.  Chill before serving. 
   
  Makes about 2 cups of dressing. 
   
  VARIATION:  Substitute 1 cup sour cream for buttermilk and use as a dip for 
  fresh vegetables.
